About this service
Ultrasound uses sound waves to examine the internal organs, with no radiation and no pain. At the clinic we perform cardiac ultrasound with Doppler (echocardiography), ultrasound of the internal organs for children and adults, and neurosonography (head ultrasound) in infants.

How to prepare
Most ultrasound scans need no special preparation. For a kidney ultrasound, the bladder needs to be full.

- a fever above 39°C that does not come down with antipyretics;
- the child completely refuses fluids;
- unusual drowsiness or apathy;
- a rash that does not fade when pressed.
